A weekend in community

Over a recent weekend we had multiple unplanned touchpoints with over a dozen friends and another handful of acquaintances across two different community events. We knew we would see friends from those communities at the events, but we didn’t know exactly who.

This is the beauty of creating opportunities for repeated spontaneous interactions within the container of an active community. Those touchpoints turned into follow up texts, plans being made, a post-event spontaneous meal, and even new people being added to my list of plans to schedule.
